BABY WITH COLD - What to give babies with a cold
You can make your child with a cold feel more comfortable by offering rest, drinks and comfort. You may find that your child will have a decreased appetite while your child has a cold.
If baby has blocked nose, you can try giving your baby saline nose drops before a feed or before putting baby down for a sleep. Decongestant medicines may work well for some children, however they can cause irritability, restlessness and disrupted sleep in other children.
A vaporiser for baby's room may be useful to increase the moisture in the room.
